Exchange formats, schemata and ontologies for data that has to move between institutions and jurisdictions — together with the tools that prove compliance with them. Plus scientific assessment from pharmacokinetics through to risk evaluation.
Domain applications, knowledge platforms and mobile apps. Rarely a greenfield: mostly systems with a history — inherited codebases, several teams involved, data models without documentation.
Language and document processing, sales forecasting, machine learning on enterprise data. Explainable models with documented validation, not a black box.
Technical accountability for a defined period, coordination of distributed teams, and liaison with expert groups and authorities — when capacity or a specialisation is missing in house.
For the European Commission's Joint Research Centre we designed, implemented and shipped the exchange format for toxicological adverse outcome pathways, complete with validators — agreed with an international expert group and presented at the US Environmental Protection Agency.
For the OECD we extended a scientific platform with quantitative effect models and made it operable: test coverage for around 2,000 priority methods, single sign-on across all content, training and content management systems, server operations.
A medical practice management system, left by a previous team as little more than a mock-up. We documented the contradictions in the data schema first, then rebuilt — and delivered over two years through to role management.
As technical partner to Powerplay One we turned an assessment model for sports organisations into a platform: weighted scoring, a template library, a subscription model — and a knowledge assistant that traces its answers back to passages in the book.
Every recommendation traces back to data, assumptions and stated limits. Where evidence is missing, we say so — a precondition in regulated industries and an advantage everywhere else.
You speak to the people who also deliver. Not the model where senior consultants write the proposal and juniors do the work.
Formats, models and decisions are documented so your team can carry them forward. Dependence on consultants is not a business model we pursue.
