Methodological rigour
We come from an environment in which a method has to be defended before regulators. We keep that habit even when no auditor is in the room: assumptions are stated, limits documented, results kept reproducible.
The Rosetta Stone was useful because it carried the same content in three scripts, and so made an unreadable language accessible. That is precisely what our work is about: bringing together data from different systems, disciplines and languages so that decisions can be made from it.
Rosettastein Consulting was founded in 2015 in the Munich metropolitan region and converted into a GmbH in 2018; its seat is Freising. We are independent, not part of a network, and not tied to any software vendor — a recommendation from us costs us no commission and earns us none.
Our origin is in computational science: in models that predict how compounds behave before any experiment takes place. That work produced the conviction that now governs every project we take on — a model is worth no more than the data beneath it and the documentation beside it.
Since 2015 we have worked for international organisations, EU research consortia, manufacturers, mid-sized companies and firms in the sports business. The application domains differed; the task was always the same: turn scattered, inconsistent data into statements that hold up.
We come from an environment in which a method has to be defended before regulators. We keep that habit even when no auditor is in the room: assumptions are stated, limits documented, results kept reproducible.
Scientific modelling, data engineering and enterprise IT belong together in our view. The same questions about data quality, traceability and validation arise in a regulatory dossier and in an ERP migration.
We use AI and agentic systems where they demonstrably save time, and we say openly where they do not. An overstated promise costs more in delivery than it earns in sales.
Client data is processed only to the extent and for as long as the project requires. Confidentiality agreements and data processing agreements are our normal practice, not the exception.
We are based in Freising, minutes from Munich Airport and roughly half an hour from the city centre. We work on site where the project calls for it and remotely otherwise.
For larger undertakings we work with a settled group of specialist partners — people we have already delivered with. We name who will work on your project before any contract is signed.
